Swedish Body Massage Level 3 Course
Swedish Body Massage is the foundation to any holistic health practice.
Once you have a diploma in Swedish body massage, the door to extra clients and help with additional treatments will be opened. During this practical workshop you will be introduced to the relaxing techniques of Swedish massage.
Please note this is a Three day course during this time you will be taught how to massage the whole body to relieve stress and tension, and enhance health so that you can massage clients, friend and family.
On Day One we will cover:
- History of Swedish Body Massage
- The Benefits of Swedish Body Massage
- Oils used during Body Massage
- Contraindications to Swedish Body Massage
- Massage Techniques
- Practical in the Afternoon
On Day Two we will cover:
- Anatomy and Physiology
- Practical in the Afternoon
On Day Three we will cover:
- Being a Therapist, Health and Safety
- Practical in the Afternoon
This course is mapped to the National Standard and Core Curriculum laid down by the habia and accredited The Federation of Holistic Therapists. Swedish Massage is an introduction to massage techniques for relaxation only. For Level 3 Body Massage please click Here

Upon successful completion of the course learners will be awarded the following qualification(s):-
- Swedish Body Massage Level 3 Diploma = 22 CPD
If you hold a Swedish Body Massage level 3 qualifications, this can be upgraded to a Body Massage level 3 qualification.
You will need to spend four days in college and complete: -
- Anatomy & Physiology (Home Study)
- Health & Safety (Home Study)
- Pathology (Home Study)
- First Aid
- Written Assessments
- 30 hours of Case Studies, 15 clients each having 2 treatments
- Practical Assessment
